Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the independent developer of Memory Palace ("we", "us") covering your use of the Memory Palace app and this website. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Using the app

Memory Palace is a study tool for building memory palaces and reviewing them with spaced repetition. You may use it for your own personal learning. Please don't misuse it — for example by trying to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or by using it to do anything unlawful.

Your content

The photos, words, and palaces you create are yours. They're stored on your device, and you're responsible for the content you add. Don't use photos or material you don't have the right to use. As described in the Privacy Policy, we don't receive or store your content.

The AI assistant

The app can suggest memory associations using an AI model. These suggestions are generated automatically and are meant as creative prompts, not facts. They may be imperfect or occasionally inaccurate. Use your own judgment, especially when studying for an exam.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription (billed weekly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed and billed by the App Store under its terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running well, but we provide it "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time. The AI assistant depends on a third-party provider and may be unavailable at times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data or lost study progress. The app is a learning aid; your results depend on your own practice.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
